Zamboanga City – 1,450 members of the LGBTQ+ association receive cash assistance under the Local Social Amelioration Program (LSAP), which forms part of the City Government’s COVID-19 recovery and rehabilitation program for sectors hardest hit by the pandemic.
Mayor Beng Climaco spearheaded the distribution of the ₱1,500 cash assistance held at the KCC Mall de Zamboanga Saturday, November 13.
The cash payout was facilitated by the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) in collaboration with the Mujer – LGBTQ+ Association in Zamboanga and the City Treasurer’s Office.
Joining the mayor during the cash payout were District 1 Cong Jawo Jimenez and Councilors Pinpin Pareja and El King Omaga.
