Two tricycle association and one cooperative officially signed an agreement with a tricycle booking application Carry Ko Saturday afternoon at a local hotel.
Nursoud Abing, Carry Ko proprietor said, two tricycle associations 3 Wheelers Wonder Association (3WWA) and City Brothers, and one tricycle cooperative Samahang Operator Drivers Transport Service Cooperative (SODTRANSCO) signed the contract.
This is in preparation for the official launching on October 18. Their routes were discussed during the signing which is for the east coast Culianan and Sinunuc for the west coast and other matters.
Carry Ko will serve better those using the tricycle as mode of transportation. It is a mobile data App for Transport Services for tricycles in the city, who are bonafide members of tricycle associations registered with the LTFRB and Tricycle Adjudication Board.
The public will have to download the application on the 18th before they can use it. After downloading the application, they can now book tricycle service using the said application door to door.
Abing said, it is safe because only legitimate tricycles are allowed to join, this can avoid overcharging because you already know how much you will pay, it has a receipt, and you will know the plate number and who is the driver.
At this time of pandemic, contact tracing will also be easy because they have the electronic transaction records.
Since these tricycles are legitimate passengers are insured. Passengers can also earn points every ride which is convertible to cash.
