Police operatives of Mahayag Municipal Police Station collared the top 9 most wanted Sunday morning in a police operation.
Police Regional Office 9 Spokesperson, P/Major Helen L. Galvez identified the collared suspect as Arnold Obquia y Mabanag.
The police conducted a police operation Sunday morning, around 9:00am at Purok Pina, Barangay San Isidro, Mahayag, Zamboanga del Sur. The police operatives were able to collar Obquia, being Top 9 Most wanted person in their municipality.
The police served the warrant of arrest against Obquia for the case of rape. The case docketed under Criminal Case 2009-10-2113 which was issued by Regional Trial Court, Ninth Judicial Region Branch 23 in Molave last February 5, 2009.
Galvez said, the arrested person is now under the custody of Mahayag MPS and due to be turned over to the court. The arrest warrant recommended No Bail for his temporary liberty.
