The Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) of Del Carmen, in partnership with Friedrich Naumann Foundation (FNF) For Freedom, conducted a 2-day Annual Youth CORE Summit from October 14-15, 2023 held at Convention Center, Del Carmen, Siargao Island.
The Youth CORE or Champion for Organizations in Revolutionizing Entrepreneurship serves as a vehicle in realizing the aims of the Local Government Unit of Del Carmen under the administration of Mayor JR Coro in providing opportunities through capacity development initiatives in youth leadership and entrepreneurship.
The workshop topic to be discussed today are regarding the Youth Entrepreneurship and E-Commerce Marketing, and The Business Model Canvass Writeshop with the guidance and help of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) , which was participated by the local youth leaders from different Barangays and youth organizations of Del Carmen.
Mayor JR Coro attended the activity and shared his inspirational message to encourage Del Carmenon young leaders and entrepreneurs to grab every opportunities when they have the capacity to do so with the local youth programs implemented for the continues development of Del Carmen.
