The Coast Guard Station Surigao del Norte headed by its Station Commander, LTSG ROMEO DAX B CALAMAYA, provided safety to ferry and security assistance to the Annual Thanksgiving Known as “Sakay-Sakay Abayan” hosted by the devotees of Virgin Dela Paz y Buen Viaje Parish Bilang Bilang Church of Surigao City and City Tourism of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte.
CG MCPO Orlando L Baldovino, Deputy Commander of Coast Guard Station Surigao del Norte led the personnel from FPB 2404 , CGSOG-NEM , CGK9-NEM , FPB 151 and CGMED-NEM for the fluvial procession of the devotees in celebrating the annual thanksgiving tradition for a safe travel at sea dubbed as “Sakay-Sakay Abayan” to honor the Patroness of Peace and Good Voyage – Virgen dela Paz y Buen Viaje held at Vicinity waters off, Surigao City, Surigao del Norte.
