The Surigao City Government stands united in its support for the Caraga Regional Development Plan 2023-2028, a six-year blueprint that charts the region’s path toward growth.

Mayor Pablo Yves L. Dumlao II, as Chairperson of the Regional Development Council Infrastructure Development Committee, leads the city’s commitment to this plan.

The official launch of the Caraga Regional Development Plan 2023-2028 was held yesterday, August 9, 2023, at the LMX Convention Center in Butuan City.

The event showcased the plan’s key elements, focusing on the region’s new development strategy: Industrialize and Innovate Fishery, Agro-forestry, Mining, and Ecotourism (i2FAME).

The Regional Development Plan seeks to contribute to the attainment of the Country’s long-term vision of a “Matatag, Maginhawa, at Panatag na Buhay Para sa Lahat,” by laying down the foundation for sustained economic transformation, recovery, and creation of green and decent jobs at the regional level.

The City Government’s support for this plan reinforces Surigao City’s commitment to the growth and prosperity of the Caraga region. Together, we look forward to a thriving future.
