Youth and Sports Development Consultant Karl Duane A. Casurra officially assumed his role as a member of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, City Government of Surigao, following a solemn oath-taking ceremony held today, November 20, 2023.
Governor Robert Lyndon S. Barbers, alongside City Mayor Pablo Yves L. Dumlao II and Vice Mayor Alfonso S. Casurra, officiated the swearing-in, marking the commencement of Councilor Casurra’s tenure.
Councilor Casurra steps into this position succeeding former councilor Christopher Boyet Bonite, now serving as Barangay Captain of Barangay Washington, having secured victory in the recent Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections on October 30, 2023.
