Camp Col Rafael C Rodriguez, Butuan City – The downpour did not hinder the Mass Oath Taking, Donning, and Pinning of Ranks of 1, 379 newly promoted Police Commissioned Officers and Police Non-Commissioned Officers of Police Regional Office (PRO) 13, held simultaneously at the Regional Headquarters, Police Provincial Offices and Butuan City Police Office last Tuesday, January 10.
PRO13 Director, POLICE BRIGADIER GENERAL PABLO G LABRA II, served as the Administering Officer during the ceremony.
In his message, the region’s top cop urged the men and women of PNP Caraga to continue doing what is right and never get discouraged by any circumstances that may try to challenge a person’s faith in himself, his job, and his organization. Rather, he encouraged his men and women to continue to live for the purpose of serving and protecting the country and people.
According to data from the Regional Personnel and Records Management Division (RPRMD) 13, a total of 93 Police Commissioned Officers were promoted, comprising of three Police Majors, 80 Police Captains, 10 Police Lieutenants and 1,286 Police Non-Commissioned Officers comprising of 66 Police Executive Master Sergeants, 105 Police Chief Master Sergeants, 126 Police Staff Master Sergeants, 119 Police Master Sergeants, 229 Police Staff Sergeants, and 641 Police Corporals.
“To everyone, do not engage in any illegal activities. Refrain from doing any forms of corruption and malice that may tarnish the uniform we wear. Remember that I will never tolerate any misconduct of my men. Be a good cop — for our country, for the people, for your family, and for yourself,” RD LABRA II ended his speech with a reminder.
