An escapee of municipal jail was shot to death by unidentified perpetrators at Sitio Guayan, Purok 3, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 11:00 AM of October 23, 2020. PMAJ. Edgar R. Hinoctan, Midsalip Police Chief identified the fatality as Nestor Dumandos, (Wanted Person and escapee of Ramon Magsaysay District Jail of BJMP) 38 years old, married, and a resident of abovementioned place.
He was shot to death using improvised homemade shotgun by unidentified suspect who immediately fled after the incident. PNP personnel of Midsalip Municipal Police Station is presently conducting thorough investigation and follow up operation to possibly identify, locate and arrest the suspect/s.
