The Surigao del Norte Provincial Office reminded all domestic and foreign tourists who wish to enter the province, especially Siargao Island, to follow the following protocols/guidelines and prepare the needed requirements:
a) Need to present the NEGATIVE result of RT-PCR taken within five days prior to the date of arrival in the province.
b) Identification card
c) Confirmed booking at the accommodation establishment or proof of ownership of the building a tourist owns.
Upon arrival at the accommodation, the tourist shall undergo a strict home quarantine for at least 14 days. The owner/operator of the concerned accommodation shall make sure that all quarantine protocols issued by the Department of Health and the LGU shall be strictly complied with.
The tourist cannot roam around within the province unless he/she can secure from the local health officer a post quarantine certificate. (RPN DXKS Surigao)
