Regional Situation Update On COVID-19 In Davao Region As Of May 30, 2021

As of 5:00 pm today, DOH Davao Center for Health Development reports 243 new cases of COVID-19 in the region bringing the total number of active cases to 2,960.

Of these new cases, 136 are from Davao City, 84 are from Davao del Norte, 12 are from Davao Oriental, 7 are from Davao del Sur, and 4 are from Davao de Oro.

There are 6 death cases reported today. Among these, 3 are from Davao City and 3 are from Davao del Norte.

There are 69 recoveries reported today. Among these, 51 are from Davao City, 12 are from Davao del Norte, 4 are from Davao Oriental, 1 is from Davao de Oro, and 1 is from Davao del Sur.

All cases reported today are local cases.

After further verification, DR-270204, DR-27561, and DR-27473 all from Davao City are actually residents from other region thus, removing them from Davao Region’s statistics.
