Top 1 Most Wanted Person of Zamboanga City Police Station 3, Arrested

Intel operatives of Zamboanga City Police Station 3 conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Sitio Pook, Barangay Cabaluay, Zamboanga City at 11:30 AM of May 12, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of the Alexander Loog Francisco, 47 years old, married and a resident of Manga Bolong, Barangay Bolong, Zamboanga City. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Presiding Judge Peter V. Eisma of Branch 15, Regional Trial Court of Zamboanga City dated July 21, 2015 for the crime of Murder, Frustrated Murder and Double Attempted Murder docketed under Criminal Case No. 31019 with No Bail Bond Recommended. Arrested suspect is now under the custody of the said police station prior turn over to the concerned court.

One Dead in a Motor Vehicle Traffic Accident in Mampang

A vehicular accident transpired at KM7, Barangay Mampang, Zamboanga City at 10:10 PM of May 12, 2021 involving a blue Honda Click 125 without plate number driven by Osama Akok y Arani a.k.a “Javier”, no license and no helmet, 19 years old, male, single together with his sister/back rider Fazria Akok y Arani, 18 years old, female, single both are residents of Omar Dr., Barangay Arena Blanco, Zamboanga City and a blue (1) Honda Click with plate no# 983 JED driven by Jonathan Hipolito, no license and no helmet, 24 years old, male, single together with a backrider Alraffy De Castro, 30 years old, male, single both are residents of Mangga Salazar Dr., Barangay Mampang, Zamboanga City. Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, both motorcycles were travelling from different direction and upon arrival at the place of incident the Honda Click 125 driven by Osama Akok avoided a broken pavement while the other Honda Click 125 driven by Jonathan Hipolito took over a motorcycle. As a result, both motorcycles got into a head-on collision. Moreover, all persons involved in the incident were brought to Zamboanga City Medical Center for medical attention but Osama Akok y Arani a.k.a. “Javier” was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician while other were on stable condition. Further, all vehicles are presently under the custody of Zamboanga City Police Station 6 for proper disposition.

Fire Incident

A fire incident transpired at Purok Dayang, Barangay Veterans, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay at 4:25 p.m. of May 12, 2021 wherein a building owned by Juacquin Chiong, owner of the building, Stephanie Girl L Tingson, Rosemarie J Milan and Lolita Y Pilare, all of legal age and residents of barangay Veterans, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay was engulfed in fire. Initial investigation revealed that the cause of fire is electric faulty wiring and estimated cost of damages were one million one hundred thousand pesos (P1,100,000.00). Further, no one was hurt during the incident.

Stabbing Incident

A stabbing incident transpired at Sitio Gumintad, Purok Santan, Barangay Limason, Vincenzo Sagun, Zamboanga del Sur at about 6:00 AM of May 12, 2021. Victim was identified as Ben Bala Pangilamon Sr., 53 years old, farmer, male, married, and a resident of Sitio Gumintad, Purok Santan, Barangay Limason, Vincenzo Sagun, Zamboanga del Sur while suspect was identified as Rammel Ybañez Damulan, 35 years old, and a resident of Barangay Cogon, Vincenzo Sagun, Zamboanga del Sur. Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, the victim and suspect along with other companions were having a drinking session at the store of certain Vilma Buhian, located at the above mentioned place of incident. Few minutes passed, the suspect went to the house of the victim and get the fighting cock/rooster of the victim without his consent. The victim got angry with the suspect and a heated argument ensued between them, suddenly the suspect pulled out his knife and stabbed the victim hitting his chest and left armpit which resulted to his instantaneous death as declared by Dra. Grace F. Sabellano, Attending Physician of RHU of Vincenzo Sagun Municipality, Zamboanga del Sur. The suspect immediately fled to unknown direction while responding PNP personnel of Vincenzo Sagun Municipal Police Station conducted hot pursuit operation for the arrest of the fleeing suspect.

One Dead in a Motor Vehicle Traffic Accident in Dimataling

A motor vehicle traffic accident transpired at National Highway of Purok 4, Barangay Kagawasan, Dimataling, Zamboanga del Sur at about 6:30 PM of May 12, 2021 involving a black Honda XRM 125, with temporary registration plate no. 0901576100, driven by Junrey Becirel Pikit-Pikit, 18 years old, male, single, self-employed, and a resident of Purok 2, Barangay Panubigan, Pitogo, Zamboanga del Sur together with his three back riders identified as Gegeros Rufa G. Gravillo Sumampong, 29 years old, female, married, housewife, and a resident of  Purok 1, Barangay Panubigan, Pitogo, Zamboanga del Sur; Argie Gravillo Sumampong, 9 years old, male, pupil and special child, and a resident of Purok 1, Barangay Panubigan, Pitogo, Zamboanga del Sur ; and Aira Mae Gravillo Sumampong, 7 years old, female, pupil, and a resident of Purok 1, Barangay Panubigan, Pitogo, Zamboanga del Sur and a red Honda XR, driven by Asher Limbaroc Sanal, 17 years old, male, single, self-employed, and a resident of Purok 3, Barangay Libertad, Dimataling, Zamboanga del Sur together with his back rider Mark Leo Argentin Sumatra, 16 years old, single, student, and a resident of Purok 3, Barangay Libertad, Dimataling, Zamboanga del Sur. Investigation disclosed that the Honda XRM was traversing from Guipos bound to Barangay Panubigan, Pitogo Municipality, while the Honda XR was traversing from Barangay Kagawasan, Dimataling Municipality bound to Pagadian City. While traversing at the above-mentioned place of accident, the Honda XR overtook a vehicle but unfortunately it bumped onto the Honda XRM running in the opposite direction. As a result, the driver of both motorcycles and the back riders were brought to Aisah Hospital, Pagadian City for immediate medical treatment, but the driver of Honda XRM was declared dead by the attending physician Dra. April Suzette Exile. Both motorcycles were brought to Dimataling Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.

Man Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Recodo

PNP personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 7 conducted anti-illegal drugs operation at Dacon, Barangay Recodo, Zamboanga City at 10:30 PM of May 12, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Alih Hamja y Jakaria, 43 years old, male, married, factory worker, high school level, and a resident of Dacon, Barangay Recodo, Zamboanga City. Recovered during the operation were Six (6) heat sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 4, 080.00 weighing 0.6 grams, one (1) coin purse and two (2) pcs. of ₱ 100.00 bills as marked money. Said subject person is now under the custody of the said police station in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.

Man Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Tulungatung

PNP personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 10 conducted anti-illegal drugs operation at Barangay Tulungatung, Zamboanga City at about 11:00 PM of May 12, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Orlando Talisaysay y Rojo a.k.a. “Orlan”, 48 years old, male, married, driver, elementary level, and a resident of Zone 6, Barangay Ayala, Zamboanga City. Recovered during the operation were eight (8) heat sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 5, 440.00 weighing more or less 0.8 grams, one (1) empty pack of San Marino Cigarette, one (1) piece of ₱ 200.00 bill and one (1) piece of ₱ 100.00 as marked money. He is now under the custody of the said police station in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.

Man Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Sta. Barbara

PNP personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 11 conducted anti-illegal drugs operation at Malunggay Dr., Barangay Sta. Barbara, Zamboanga City at 2:20 AM of May 12, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Al-Gabid Daud y Abdulsatar, 23 years old, male, married, jobless, elementary level, and a resident of Malunggay Dr., Barangay Sta. Barbara, Zamboanga City. Recovered during the operation were Four (4) heat sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected shabu with an estimated DDB value of ₱ 27, 000.00 weighing more or less 3.97 grams, one (1) empty cigarette pack, and one (1) piece of ₱ 500.00 as marked money. He is now under the custody of the said police station in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.

Murder Suspect Arrested in Sindangan

PNP personnel of Leon Postigo Municipal Police Station (MPS) together with Provincial Intelligence Unit – Zamboanga del Norte Police Provincial Office conducted joint intel driven manhunt operation at Barangay Talinga, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte at 8:30 AM of May 12, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Joseph Alingas Luab 19 years old, single, student and a resident of said place. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Joel Gonzaga Vercide, Acting Presiding Judge, RTC 9th Judicial Region, Branch 11, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte dated April 21, 2021 for the crime of “Murder” docketed under Criminal Case No. S-6276 without bail bond recommended. The arrested person is now under custody of Leon B. Postigo MPS for proper disposition.
