₱ 3.4 Million Worth of Shabu Seized in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Aurora
Joint elements of PDEA – Zamboanga del Sur together with Aurora Municipal Police Station (MPS) and Tukuran Municipal Police Station conducted drug buy-bust operation at Purok Doña Aurora, Barangay Poblacion, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur at 12:15 PM of July 8, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Jamael Sinab Omar, legal age, driver, and a resident of Purok Manuang, Iligan City, Lanao del Norte and Salimah Ampuan Amer, 32 years old, single, and a resident of Barangay Pantar, Marawi City, Lanao Del Sur. Confiscated during the operation were five (5) big size knot-tied plastic cellophane containing suspected Shabu with an estimated weight of 500 grams and an estimated market value of ₱ 3.4 million; one (1) piece ₱ 1,000.00 as marked money topped with ₱ 900,000.00 boodle money; one brown paper bag used as container; one green eco bag also used as container; one unit Oppo cellphone; and one unit Multicab Suzuki. They are now temporarily detained at Aurora MPS while appropriate charges for violation of R.A. 9165 is being prepared for filing in court.
Top 5 Most Wanted Person of Rizal, Arrested in Cagayan de Oro
PNP personnel of Rizal Municipal Police Station (MPS) together with 1st Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Mobile Force Company conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Barangay Asunto Tabok, Bulwa, Cagayan de Oro City at about 2:00 PM of July 8, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Joseph Cuajauo, 31 years old, male, single, laborer, a native Barangay South Mapang, Rizal, Zamboanga Del Norte. He was arrested for the crime of Acts of Lasciviousness docketed under criminal case no. 2829-R issued by Hon. Victorio Dante D. Dalman, Presiding Judge, Municipal Circuit Trial Court of Rizal-Sibutad, Zamboanga del Norte, 9th Judicial Region dated March 27, 2015 with bail recommended amounting to ₱ 12,000.00. The suspect was brough to Rizal MPS for proper disposition.
Shooting Incident
A shooting incident transpired at Purok Mahigalaon, Barangay Bulatok, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur at 7:50 PM of July 8, 2021. Victim was identified as Rimuel Tutor Garupil, 42 years old, male, married, tricycle driver, and a resident of Purok Matinabangon, Bulatok, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur. Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, victim was onboard his tricycle together with his wife and daughter, when suddenly, they were waylaid by two (2) riding in tandem suspects on board a black Raider motorcycle. The gunman/backrider allegedly fired upon the victim with the use of caliber .45, the victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds on the different parts of his body. The suspect immediately fled towards the upper portion of Barangay Bulatok, Pagadian City. The victim was brought to Aisah Hospital, Barangay San Pedro, Pagadian City but was declared dead on arrival by Dr. Cherry Joy M. Vicente at 7:50 PM of same date. Recovered from the crime scene were four (4) Fired cartridge casings from an alleged .45 caliber pistol. PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police Station is still conducting thorough investigation and follow-up operation to identify, locate and arrest the fleeing suspects.
Three Men Dead in Motorcycle Traffic Accident in Tabina
A vehicular accident transpired at Purok San Jose, Barangay Manicaan, Tabina, Zamboanga del Sur at 8:00 PM of July 8, 2021 involving a red/black Honda XRM 125, driven by Juven Glenn Olivar, male, 24 years old, single, self-employed, and a resident of Barangay Bayabaya, Tabina, Zamboanga del Sur; Glady Joyel (backrider), male, 25 years old, single, self-employed, and a resident of Barangay Bayabaya, Tabina, Zamboanga del Sur; and Karl Jay Berdos (backrider), male, 21 years old, single, student, and a resident of Barangay Bayabaya, Tabina, Zamboanga del Sur. The motorcycle was traversing on high speed from Barangay Baganian heading towards Barangay Manicaan, Tabina, Zamboanga del Sur. Upon reaching the descending and curved road, the motorcycle accidentally overshot and eventually, the driver lost control of the motorcycle and swerved into the rocky area. All victims incurred multiple injuries on the different parts of their bodies that resulted to their instantaneous death as declared by local medical attendants of said municipality. Further investigation disclosed that the driver and one of his back-rider were from a drinking spree prior to the incident. The cadavers were already turned-over to their respective families.
Murder Suspect in Cagayan de Oro, Arrested in Pagadian City
PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police Station (CPS) together with Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-Zamboanga del Sur conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Purok Makiangayon, Barangay Balangasan, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at 5:15 PM of July 8, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Jayson Abellana Tomboc, 41 years old, male, single, plumber and a resident of Purok Makiangayon, Barangay Balangasan, Pagadian City Zamboanga del Sur. He was arrested by virtue of arrest warrant for the crime of Frustrated Murder, docketed under criminal case no. 2018-3137 dated June 16, 2021 issued by Hon. Henry B. Damasing, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 24, Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental with recommended bail bond fixed at ₱ 200,000.00. He is now temporarily detained at Pagadian CPS while waiting for commitment order from the court.
Rape Suspect Arrested in Kabasalan
PNP personnel of Kabasalan Municipal Police Station (MPS) together with 2nd Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Mobile Force Company conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Purok Mahogany, Fl Peña Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay at 12:20 PM of July 8, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Eduardo M. Awox Jr, 31 years old, single, LTO employee, and a resident of Purok 2, Concepcion, Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay. The arrest was made by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Rape by Sexual Assault, docketed under criminal case. no. I-8427, dated June 23, 2021, issued by Hon. Anthony DT Isaw, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 24 Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay with ₱ 200,000.00 bail recommended. He was brought to Kabasalan MPS for proper disposition.
Rape Suspect Arrested in Dipolog City
PNP personnel of 1st Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Mobile Force Company together with Dipolog City Police Station (CPS) conducted joint Intel-driven manhunt operation at Barangay Sicayab, Dipolog City at about 2:00 PM of July 8, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Anacleto T. Quezo, 75 years old, male, married, jobless, and a resident of Purok Mangga, Barangay Ma. Cristina, Dapitan City. He was arrested for the crime of Rape docketed under criminal case no. 21238 issued by Hon. Rogelio D. Laquihon, Presiding Judge, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 7, Dipolog City dated May 10, 2017 with bail recommended fixed the at ₱ 200, 00.00. He was brought to Dipolog CPS for documentation and proper disposition.
Man Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Ipil
Municipal Drug Enforcement Team of Ipil Municipal Police Station (MPS) (lead unit) together with Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and 2nd Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Mobile Force Company conducted drug buy-bust operation at Purok Santan, Barangay Tenan, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay at 4:30 PM of July 8, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Rey De Tomas Tuñacao, male, 33 years old, married, high school level, driver and a resident of Barangay Pangi, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay. Confiscated from his possession were two (2) transparent plastic sachets of suspected Shabu, with estimated weigh of 0.106 grams and with estimated value of ₱ 720.00; one (1) Samsung cellular phone, and one (1) 500-peso bill (marked money). Arrested person and confiscated items were brought to Ipil MPS for proper disposition. A case for violation of R.A. 9165 is being prepared against the suspect.

Station Drug Enforcement Team of Zamboanga City Police Station 6 conducted anti-illegal drugs operation at Atiklan, Barangay Arena Blanco, Zamboanga City at 12:55 PM of July 8, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Aldin Abdul Y Addusi, 31 years old, married, elementary level, jobless of Omar Drive, Barangay Arena Blanco, Zamboanga City. Recovered during the operation were six (6) sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 3,400.00 weighing 0.5 grams and two (2) bills of ₱ 100.00 marked money. He is now under the custody of Zamboanga City Police Station 6 in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered sachets of suspected Shabu will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.

Station Drug Enforcement Team of Zamboanga City Police Station 7 conducted anti-illegal drugs operation at Luyahan, Barangay Pasonanca, Zamboanga City at 12:30 PM of July 8, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Michael Hadjinulla y Asamuddin, 38 years old, male, married, jobless, college undergraduate, and a resident of Barangay Lunzuran, Zamboanga City. Recovered during the operation were three (3) sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 41,480.00 weighing 6.1 grams and one (1) bill of ₱ 500.00 as marked money. He is now under the custody of Zamboanga City Police Station 7 in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered sachets of suspected shabu will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
Fish Vendor Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Ayala
Station Drug Enforcement Team of Zamboanga City Police Station 1 conducted anti-illegal drugs operation at Zone 6, Calle San Vicente, Barangay Ayala, Zamboanga City at 7:20 PM of July 8, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Ibrahim Balpaki Kamdani a.k.a. “Bro”, 37 years old, male, separated, fish vendor, high school graduate, and a resident of Zone 3 A, Barangay Cawit, Zamboanga City. Recovered during the operation were five (5) sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 2,720.00 weighing 0.4 grams and two (2) bills of ₱ 100.00 as marked money. He is now under the custody of Zamboanga City Police Station 1 in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered sachets of suspected Shabu will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
