Top 2 Most Wanted Person of Sergio Osmeña, Arrested

Police operatives of Sergio Osmeña Municipal Police Station (MPS), Anti-Kidnapping Group Municipal Field Unit-Iligan Satellite Office together with 901st Maneuver Company conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Purok 3, Brgy. New Tangub, Sergio Osmeña, Zamboanga del Norte at about 11:00 AM of April 6, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Richard M. Aguhob, 25 years old, male, married, farmer and a resident of  Purok 2, Brgy Princesa Freshia. Sergio Osmeña, Zamboanga del Norte. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Murder docketed under Criminal Case No. 24379 signed and issued by Hon. Jose Rene G. Dondoyano, Presiding Judge of RTC, Branch 6 9th Judicial Region, Dipolog City, dated November 24, 2020 with no bail bond recommended. He person is now temporarily detained at Sergio Osmeña MPS for proper disposition.

Stabbing Incident

A stabbing incident transpired at Purok 2, Barangay Dimalinao, Bayog, Zamboanga del Sur at 3:30 PM of April 6, 2021. The victims were identified as a Marno Angconoy Candao, 29 years old, married, farmer and his father Anderes Daluyon Candao, 55 years old, married, farmer, both residents of Purok 2, Barangay Dimalinao, Bayog, Zamboanga del Sur and the suspect was identified as Marcelino Capon Banloy, 55 years old, married, farmer, also a resident of the above-mentioned place. Initial investigation disclosed that at about 2:00 P.M. of April 6, 2021, Anderes Candao together with his wife and daughter, while resting inside their house situated at Purok 2, Barangay Dimalinao, Bayog, Zamboanga del Sur, the suspect, armed with a bolo, entered there in and suddenly stabbed the victim Anderes Candao hitting on the right portion of his stomach and after a while, his son, Marno Candao, arrived at the said house and the suspect also stabbed him. As a result, Marno suffered lone stabbed wound which resulted to his instantaneous death and while the his father Anderes was brought to Bayog Municipal Health Unit for immediate medical attention and was referred to Zamboanga del Sur Medical Center, Dao, Pagadian City for further intensive medical examination. Immediately after the incident, the above-named suspect fled heading to the hilly portion of Purok 3, Barangay Dimalinao, Bayog, Zamboanga del Sur; Bayog Municipal Police Station is now conducting pursuit operation and closely coordinated to the other law enforcement agency for the arrest of the suspect. Motive of the incident is yet to be determined

2 Drug Suspects Arrested in a Drug Buy-Bust Operation in San Pedro

PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police Station (CPS) together with 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company conducted illegal drug buy-bust operation at Purok New Tudela, Barangay San Pedro, Pagadian City at 7:30 AM of April 6, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Radial Dingagan Ladjaalam, 24 years old, male, married, self-employed, and a resident of Purok Rizal, Poblacion Diplahan, Zamboanga Sibugay and Jannary Miano Bargayo, 27 years old, male, single, self-employed, and a resident of Purok Lower Lumbia, Barangay Lumbia, Pagadian City. Confiscated from their possession were the following: one piece of small plastic heat-sealed sachet containing suspected Shabu; five pieces of small plastic heat-sealed sachet containing suspected Shabu; one Unit black Samsung bar phone; one blue disposable lighter color; one improvised plastic straw; one improvised bamboo stick; one aluminum foil (Totter); one aluminum foil (Gutter); one piece scissor; and one piece five hundred peso bill as marked money bearing serial numbers GW826123.. The estimated weight of seized drugs in 0.6 grams with standard price of ₱ 4,080.00. They are now temporarily detained at Pagadian CPS while appropriate charges for violation of R.A. 9165 also known as “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002” are being prepared for filing in court.

₱156,400.00 Worth of Shabu Nabbed in Tetuan

PNP personnel of Regional Drug Enforcement Unit 9 conducted buy-bust operation at Don Toribio street , Barangay Tetuan, Zamboanga City at about 11:00 AM of April 6, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Abdurakman Arpa Y Amiludin, 29 years old, male, single, elementary graduate, unemployed and a resident of Asinan, Barangay Kasanyangan, Zamboanga City. Recovered from his possession were one (1) heat sealed transparent plastic sachet suspected to be shabu, four (4) heat sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 156,400.00 weighing 23 grams, one (1) black and brown lighter classic box used as container, one (1) genuine one thousand peso bill (₱ 1000.00)  used as marked money and four (4) pieces of one thousand peso bill of bogus money all with serial no. TK938419. He is now under the custody of Zamboanga City Police Office for preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Regional Crime Laboratory Office for examination.

Man Arrested in a Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Guiwan

Station Drug Enforcement Team of Zamboanga City Police Station 5 conducted buy-bust operation at Porcentro, Barangay Guiwan, Zamboanga City at 11:30 AM of April 6, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Anhar Ignacio y Buenaventura, 35 years old, male, married, college graduate, unemployed and a resident of Barangay Kasanyangan, Zamboanga City. Recovered during the operation were eight (8) sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of 10, 200.00 pesos weighing 1.5 grams and three (3) bills of 100.00 pesos marked money. He is now under the custody of Zamboanga City Police Station 5 in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.

Man Arrested in a Drug Buy-Bust Operation in San Roque

Station Drug Enforcement Team of Zamboanga City Police Station 4 conducted buy-bust operation at Barangay San Roque, Zamboanga City at 1:30 PM of April 6, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Salih Lim y Gabitanan, 39 years old, male, married, high school graduate, unemployed and a resident of Flamingo, Upper Calarian, Zamboanga City. Recovered during the operation were six (6) sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 3, 000.00 weighing 0.44 grams and two (2) bills of ₱ 100.00 marked money. He is now under the custody of Zamboanga City Police Station 4 in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.

Murder Suspect Arrested in Sta. Catalina

Police operatives of Zamboanga City Police Station 10 together with Naval Intelligence Security Group (NISG) conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Zamboanga City Medical Center, Barangay Sta. Catalina, Zamboanga City at about 3:00 PM of April 6, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Amil Hussin Itong Asani, 39 years, male, married and a resident of Tipo Tipo, Basilan. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of three (3) counts Murder with Criminal Case Nos. 8084, 8085, 8086 issued by Branch 2 of Regional Trial Court, Basilan 9th Judicial Region signed by Hon. Grace Capacillo Tilah, Acting Presiding Judge dated March 16, 2021 with no recommended bail bond for all cases. He was arrested while undergoing medical treatment Zamboanga City Medical Center and still confined thereat.

Fire Incident

 A fire incident transpired at Saavedra Drive, Barangay Tugbungan, Zamboanga City at 7:45 PM of April 6, 2021 wherein one (1) boarding house made of light materials was partially burned owned by Norma Go y Paragas, 62 years old. Investigation disclosed that Stephanie Santos Sioco, 33 years old, married, was renting at the said boarding house. Allegedly, she left the house to look for a new boarding house. After which, she was informed by her neighbor that her rented house was burning. At about 7:59 PM of same date Bureau of Fire Protection 9 declared fire out. Cause of fire and the cost of damage is still to be determine by the BFP investigator. No reported injuries on the said incident

Man Arrested in a Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Kasanyangan

PNP personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 1 conducted anti-illegal drugs operation at Vista Homes, Barangay Kasanyangan, Zamboanga City at 11:15 PM of April 6, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Ramil Desiderio y Candido, 35 years old, male, single, unemployed, college graduate, and a resident of Enriquez Dr., Barangay Sta. Catalina, Zamboanga City. Recovered during the operation were two (2) heat sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 1, 500.00 weighing more or less 0.22 grams and two (2) pieces of ₱ 100.00 bill as marked money. He is now under the custody of Zamboanga City Police Station 1 in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.

Shooting Incident

 A shooting incident transpired at Purok 3, Barangay Recodo, Zamboanga City at 11:20 PM of April 6, 2021. The victim was identified as Mark Jayson Jayari y Roca, 29 years old, male, single and a resident of Purok 3, Barangay Recodo, Zamboanga City while suspect was identified as a certain “Cowboy” who was allegedly the former husband of the victim’s girlfriend. Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, said victim together with his friend went to Purok 3, Barangay Recodo, Zamboanga City when the suspect suddenly appeared and shot him using a cal .45 pistol. As a result, the victim sustained gun-shot wound on his lower right shoulder and was immediately brought to Labuan Public Hospital for appropriate medical attention while suspect fled towards Purok 4, Barangay Recodo, Zamboanga City after the incident. Personnel from Zamboanga City Police Station 9 is still conducting hot-pursuit operation for the arrest of the identified suspect.

Shooting Incident

A shooting incident transpired at Barangay Kasanyangan, Zamboanga City at 11:47 PM of April 6, 2021. The victim was an unidentified male person wearing red t-shirt and white short pants. He was shot to death allegedly by two (2) unidentified suspects on board a single motorcycle. The said victim was seen lying on the inner road of the place of incident with visible lone gun-shot wound on the left portion of his forehead that resulted to his instantaneous death. Moreover, a crime scene investigation was conducted by the Scene of the Crime Operatives and recovered from the crime scene was one (1) fired cartridge of an alleged cal .45. Further, the cadaver was brought to Zamboanga City Medical Center for proper disposition while Zamboanga City Police Station 6 is still conducting thorough investigation to identify the victim and the and to determine the motive of the suspect/s
