Camp Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad. Benguet – As part of the Philippine National Police localization of assignment program, 51 Police Regional Office Cordillera personnel were reassigned to their respective provinces during a send – off ceremony this morning at Camp Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet.
Through the virtual program, the Chief PNP PGEN. Camilo Pancratius P. Cascolan said that the fast track of the localization program is to uplift the morale and welfare of the PNP and reinforce family solidarity with the end view of attaining maximum work efficiency towards effective law enforcement.
“This localization is the transfer with proper swapping of personnel to their respective provinces where they are near to their love ones, and for that, we expect their best performance.” Cascolan said.
Of the 51 PROCOR (Police Regional Office Cordillera) personnel, 25 were reassigned at PRO1, 16 in PRO2, 2 each in PRO 3 & 6,1 each in PRO9 and CALABARZON; and 4 in BAR.
364 PNP personnel from different region will also be reassigned in PROCOR.
The familiarity with the people, the culture, the terrain and other conditions prevailing threat and practical economics will be favorable for the law enforcers.
To be consistent, the localization of assignment has its policies and issuances that were strictly observed.
The transferred personnel from one PRO to another are no longer allowed to seek subsequent reassignment to other regions; cleared from money and property accountabilities from the losing unit; and qualified personnel shall be prioritized according to the parameters.
The implementation of the localization is fully implemented in all Police Regional Offices except for NCRPO and PRO 4A which will adopt a staggered approach.
