Davao de Oro: about 11:10PM of March 26, 2020, information received by Police office that a shooting incident transpired at PrkLanzones, Pangi, Maco, Davao de Oro.
In this connection, Police personnel led by Police Major John Rendaje, Officer in-Charge of Maco Police Station immediately proceeded to said area to conduct ocular investigation.
Upon arrival thereat, the victim identified as One Anghel Ali Bansil, 50 years old, married, physical therapist and a resident of abovementioned address was already rushed to Bishop Reagan Hospital by his Family and Brgy Officials of BrgyPangi for immediate medical treatment.
Initial Investigation conducted revealed thru the statement of the witnesses, that the victim was resting already at their house at Purok Lanzones, Pangi, Davao De Oro, around 10:40 PM of March 25, 2020, they heard their dogs Barking outside, the victim woke up to verify the commotion and went outside of their house, several minutes later they heard consecutive gunshot fired outside.
When the gun burst stops, they saw the victim lying on the ground and suffered multiple gunshot wound at the back portion of his body, the investigator recovered two (2) fired cartridge case believed to be from caliber 45 pistol at the crime scene. Unfortunately, the victim was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician Dr. Christina B. Gicana, Medical Doctor.
Motive and Identity of the suspect/s are still to be determined.
