Our very own Angeline Colonia clinches 2 gold and 1 silver medals in the ongoing International Weightlifting Federation IWF World Junior Championship, being held in Leon, Spain from September 19-27, 2024.
Colonia is one of the eight athletes representing the Philippines in the competition in Spain. The others are Rose Jean Ramos, Jhodie Peralta, Rosalinda Faustino and Albert Ian De los Santos from Zamboanga City; Lovely Inan and Prince Keil Delos Santos from Angono, Rizal; and Eron Borres from Cebu.
The Philippine team is accompanied by coaches Gregorio Colonia, Allen Jayfrus Diaz and Diwa Delos Santos from Zamboanga City, and Samuel Alegada from Bohol.
