DOLE Region 9 formally handed over checks amounting to P75 million for the TUPAD Program and P3 million for the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program to Zamboanga del Sur Gov. Victor J. Yu, on Friday, September 6.
The turnover was led by DOLE-9 Regional Director Albert Gutib together with DOLE Zambosur Field Office Head Miraflor Casanes and witnessed by 1st District Cong. Divina Grace Yu and PESO OIC Roniel Garcines.
The funds are expected to provide much-needed support for displaced workers and small-scale livelihood projects across the province, as part of the government’s ongoing efforts to promote employment and sustainable development.
