ONE CARAGA SHIELD DISCUSS PRESSING ISSUES ON THE RISE OF COVID-19 CASES

Members of the Caraga Regional Task Force for COVID-19 One Caraga Shield (RTF-COCS) are convening today (June 23) for a Teleconference Meeting.

With the drastic increase of cases and confirmation of local transmission in Caraga region, the task force is set to discuss pressing issues surrounding the rise of cases and intensified implementation of necessary protocols to curb the transmission of COVID-19 in Caraga.

Per DOH Caraga’s data presented in today’s Caraga RTF-COCS Teleconference Meeting, Caraga region currently has 87 confirmed case, 16 of which have now recovered and been discharged while 71 remain active cases.

Of the total number of cases, 77 are asymptomatic. The region now has 47 probable cases and 170 cumulative suspect cases. Out of the 87 cases, 13 of these are Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROFs) and 53 are Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs).
