NATIONAL University (NU) is a favorite to defend its crown in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines Season 86 Cheerdance Competition on December 2 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
NU stakes its title under new head coach Gab Bajacan.
“I believe we’re in for another exciting and eagerly anticipated competition,” said UAAP Special Events Committee head Gigi Kamus. “I know our coaches are highly creative and innovative when it comes to their performances.”
The University of the East Pep Squad will perform first based o the draw held at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Quadricentennial Pavilion that was held after the coaches’ meeting on Thursday.
The NU Pep is second, followed by Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles, Adamson University Pep Squad, University of the Philippines Pep Squad, De La Salle University Animo Squad, last year’s runners-up Far Eastern University Cheering Squad and UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe.
