Engr. Roman Jumawan assumed yesterday as the newly appointed Surigao City Traffic Operations Officer to head the City Traffic Management Office.
Atty. Manuelito Delani turned over the responsibilities to Jumawan with the presence of City Personnel Officer Hazel Pedimonte.
In his assumption to office, Engr. Jumawan told RPN DXKS that Mayor Ernesto U. Matugas, Jr. has given him a four-point marching orders. First, professionalize the City Traffic Office, foremost the Traffic Enforcers; Account and inventory of Citation Tickets; Coordinate with LTO for the unattended issued Citation Tickets; and recommend amendments to the proposed Surigao City Comprehensive Traffic Code now pending approval in the City Council.
