“To all San Luisanon, starting June 21, 2020, no one is allowed to go to Butuan until further notice.
Our municipal health officer and PNP chief will not release medical clearances and travel authority, except for emergency cases. Anyone who comes from Butuan, for whatever reason, will be considered as a COVID-suspect. Regardless of the validity of the reason, you will be subjected to a mandatory 14-day quarantine.
Again, as much as the local government values your right to travel, the welfare of the majority is of higher value. Please be guided. Thank you for your cooperation,” said Mayor Phoebe Corvera as she reminded locals of said announcement.
