In a concrete demonstration of “Serbisyong Nararamdaman,” the Masbate 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company – R-PSB Team Jamorawon assisted 15 residents of Barangay Jamorawon, Milagros, Masbate, in completing their medical evaluation and processing their applications for Student Permits at the Land Transportation Office – Masbate City on September 16, 2026.
The beneficiaries were residents who had previously participated in the Free Theoretical Driving Course (TDC) conducted by the LTO in Barangay Jamorawon on August 28, 2026. Recognizing the need to assist the participants in completing the succeeding requirements, the R-PSB Team coordinated with the concerned offices and provided guidance and hands-on assistance throughout the process.
The initiative was undertaken in response to concerns identified through the Needs Assessment Survey, particularly the challenges encountered by community members in accessing and completing government services. Through proper coordination, guidance, and direct assistance, all 15 beneficiaries successfully completed the necessary requirements and obtained their Student Permits.
More than simply facilitating a government transaction, the initiative reflects the R-PSB Team’s commitment to bringing essential government services closer to the people and responding to practical concerns that affect their daily lives. It likewise demonstrates how meaningful police-community engagement can extend beyond traditional law enforcement functions by empowering communities and strengthening their access to vital government services.
Under the leadership of PBGEN RANDY GLENN G SILVIO, Regional Director, PRO 5, initiatives such as this reinforce the importance of ensuring that police presence is not only seen but felt by the members of the community.
The activity likewise supports the PNP Focused Agenda under Community Support by strengthening linkages among the police, government agencies, and local communities.
Through sustained coordination, responsive assistance, and meaningful community engagement, the R-PSB Team Jamorawon continues to foster stronger partnerships, empower residents, and bring government services closer to the people in support of safer, more resilient, and empowered communities. ###
