The City Government of Iriga, represented by Mayor Wilfredo Rex C. Oliva, participated in the 2024 Regional Development Council (RDC) Week-Off Celebration on September 23, 2024, at the Legazpi City Convention Center.
The event marked the launch of the “𝘉𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘗𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘴” campaign, showcasing the administration’s leadership and governance strategy. With the theme, “𝘉𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘗𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘴: 𝘏𝘢𝘬𝘣𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘛𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘰 𝘴𝘢 𝘈𝘮𝘣𝘪𝘴𝘺𝘰𝘯 𝘕𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯 2040,” it emphasized the nation’s long-term development vision.
Key highlights included:
1. The unveiling of Bicol Regional Development Priorities by the RDC Chairperson,
2. The RDC Awards and Recognition Ceremony, and
3. The inaugural Bagong Pilipinas Town Hall Meeting.
Mayor Rex’s attendance underscored Iriga City’s commitment to supporting national development goals and contributing to the progress of the Ambisyon Natin 2040 vision.
