The squad of Iriga City (ZAHS) swept the Sorsogon Province team as it launched a mammoth 13-6 triumph home run this Monday, April 29 at 2024 Palarong Bicol Women’s Softball Secondary Game 2 held at Tabaco National High School grounds.
During the first inning, the girls had already secured three home runs to give the team a rewarding 3-0 lead and blasted the innings with 1-2, 4-0, and 5-4, which helped them emerge as the winners.
After safely hitting a fair ball, the base runner’s speed helps the team advance to third base and achieve several home runs despite the scorching heat of the summer sun.
Now, their team is preparing for the next round, and they are anticipating several intense battles over fellow Oragons to represent the Palarong Pambansa earlier this July.
