On June 26, 2024, the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) – Municipal Operations Office (MOO) in Ocampo, Camarines Sur, held a Pugay Tagumpay ceremony to honor ninety (90) exited household beneficiaries who have achieved an improved level of wellbeing. Funded by the local government unit (LGU), the activity provided grocery items to the beneficiaries and celebrated their resilience in overcoming life’s challenges and making strides towards poverty alleviation.

The event also served as a platform for key stakeholders, including the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), Municipal Agriculture Office (MOO), Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWD), and the Sangguniang Bayan Social Service Committee, to showcase various programs and services available to the exited household-beneficiaries as part of continuing support services and interventions.

Three exited household-beneficiaries delivered heartfelt speeches and testimonies, highlighting the pivotal role the 4Ps program played in their journey towards achieving improved socioeconomic status. Gilda B. Moran, an exited beneficiary from Barangay New Moriones, shared:

(As a former grantee, I can personally attest to how the 4Ps program has profoundly impacted my family. Out of my nine children, 3 became child-beneficiaries, yet all of them benefited from the program’s support. I also served as a parent leader for a five-year tenure which helped me enhance my capabilities and bolster my self-confidence. Today, with only one child still in school, I can affirm that 4Ps played a crucial role in our family’s journey out of poverty.
