Two members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Albay have been elected to key positions in the Provincial Board Members League of the Philippines Regional Council.
First District Board Member Marian Caroline Ziga-So was chosen as regional auditor, while First District Board Member Atty. Sheina Marie C. Onrubia-Dela Cruz was elected as one of the regional directors.
Their election took place during the league’s regional assembly at the National Government Center in Sorsogon City.
The two legislators will serve from 2025 to 2028, working with other provincial board members to advance inter-provincial collaboration and policy development.
Both officials expressed gratitude for the trust given to them and vowed to promote people-centered and inclusive local governance.
The regional council serves as a platform to strengthen coordination among provincial legislators and align local legislation with national development goals.
