Wife stabbed her husband with ice pick hitting the right side of his back after allegedly not giving his wife his income remittance.
The incident happened at around 10:25 in the evening at Brgy. Antonio, Labason, Zamboanga del Norte on July 28, 2019.
Mrs. Dalmacia dela Cruz, the victim’s sister reported the incident through a cellular phone at about 10:30 in the evening on the said date.
The victim was identified as Julian Acla aka “Lingling”, 54 years old and a resident of the above-mentioned municipality, who was stabbed by his wife after an argument and left him at the kitchen. His wife, Mamerta Cuevas Acla, 52 years old was in a rage because her husband is not giving her his income anymore.
The victim was immediately brought to Labason District Hospital for treatment while the suspect is now under police custody of Labason Municipal Police Station, Zamboanga del Norte, likewise the weapon, an ice pick of 10 inches long, used to stab the victim.
