CIGNAL tries to preserve its pristine record while Philippine Air Force and PGJC-Navy seek to extend their winning ways in the Spikers’ Turf Open Conference Friday at the Paco Arena in Manila.

The HD Spikers go for a 3-0 won-lost record against the Airmen, who are coming off a five-set stunner over National University-Archipelago to enter the win column with 1-2 a card at 5:30 pm.

Cignal, which drubbed Imus-Ivy Tuason Photography in straight sets, tries to keep in step with Iloilo and AMC-Cotabato at the top at 3-0.

Marck Espejo was a man on a mission against the AJAA Spikers with 18 points on top of 11 excellent receptions and will look to be the same guy against the high-morale Air Force.

The trio of Rodolfo Labrador, Ranran Abdilla and Edwin Tolentino aim to deliver the Airmen to another win, this time against a much-loaded and more powered Cignal.

Navy and Imus open the day at 3 pm in a quest to get out of the stacked middle part of the standings.

The Sealions had an easy win over Santa Rosa to put them at an even 1-1, but brace for a bounce-back seeking AJAA Spikers, who just absorbed their first loss last Sunday.

Greg Dolor and Geoffrey Alicandor lead Navy anew along with Christian Marcelino and Jemmy Entig with Owen Suarez setting things up.

On the other hand, Imus’s Louie Ramirez, Hero Austria, and Kim Malabunga look to regain their touch after being limited by the HD Spikers.
