Hacking incident transpired at Sitio Siguinan, Barangay Sangali, Zamboanga City at 3:00 PM of September 22, 2020, wherein suspect identified as Toteng Alcasarin, 19 years old, male, single and a resident of Sitio Capuc, Barangay Sangali, Zamboanga City who allegedly hacked the victim identified as Jojo Villafuerte Dongallo, 38 years old, male, married and a resident of Sitio Cambodia, Barangay Sangali, Zamboanga City.
Investigation disclosed that according to some of the locals of the aforementioned place of incident, said victim saw the suspect entering the house of their neighbor and warned him. Out of embarrassment the suspect went home and after few minutes, said suspect returned carrying a scythe (sanggut), approached and immediately hacked the victim.
Moreover, said victim sustained hacked wounds on his upper left back portion and was brought to Mindanao Sanitarium Hospital, Barangay Pasobolong in Zamboanga City for immediate medical attention while the suspect fled towards the mangroves of Sitio Paminguitan, Barangay Sangali, Zamboanga City after the commission of the crime.
