Sangguniang Panlungsod of Surigao City passed two resolutions yesterday regarding admission of patients suspected of COVID-19
City Councilor Atty. Jose Expeditus Bayana filed the first resolution with amendments introduced by Atty. Danilo Menor for the DOH Regional Director of Caraga Jose Llacuna Jr. to strictly implement DOH issued circulars enjoining level 2 and 3 hospitals within the region including the City of Butuan to attend to all patients suspected of COVID-19 and those confirmed COVID-19 with mild symptoms and for the Regional Director not to refer anymore infected patients or PUIs to Caraga Regional Hospital.
The second resolution was filed by City Councilor Joshua Emilio Geli requesting Caraga Regional Hospital not to accept any referrals of PUIs or positive COVID-19 patients from any other provinces except Surigao del Norte and Dinagat Islands. Please view the posted update on this yesterday.
