Police personnel of Sergio Osmeña Municipal Police Station (MPS) and Mahayag Municipal Police Station (MPS) conducted police operation against wanted person at Brgy. Labangon, Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:30 AM of October 14, 2020. The operation resulted in the arrest of Paolo Dumon Lumbatan Sr, 70 years old, male, married; farmer, and Paolo Dumon Lumbatan Jr, 30 years old, male, farmer, of Purok 2, Pedagan Norte, Zamboanga Del Norte.
They were arrested by Virtue of Arrest Warrant for the Crime of Attempted Murder docketed under Criminal Case No. 24226 issued by Presiding Judge, 9th Regional Trial Court, Branch 8, Dipolog City, Zamboanga Del Norte Dated September 10, 2020 with bail bond recommended amounting to ₱ 120,000.00 each.
Arrested accused were brought to Mahayag MPS for documentation and subsequently turn over to Sergio Osmeña MPS for proper disposition. (PCpt. Edwin A. Duco, Chief Public Information Officer)
