A drug den was dismantled and five drug personalities were arrested during a buy-bust operation conducted by PDEA Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Office, PIU/PDEU, 2nd PMFC, 908th Maneuver Company and PDEA SES-K9 Unit around 4:00 PM today, October 13, 2020 at Purok Gemelina, Brgy. Tenan, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.
Arrested drug personalities were identified as Benhar Mohammad y Ahiya, Nijar Mohammad y Ahiya, Haped Abualas y Tandual, Mohammad Nijam Omar y Cuarto Cruz, and Ebrahim Bual y Ahiya.
Confiscated during the operation were 13 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu weighing more or less 15 grams worth ₱ 102,000.00, several drug paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money.
The suspects will be facing charges in court for violations of RA 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
