Dr. Jose Llacuna Jr. confirmed the 68 years old patient admitted as PUI is positive of COVID-19. The first case in Caraga Region, Dr. Llacuna in an interview by DXKS this morning urged everyone not to panic but keep on Staying at Home.
DOH is now on contact tracing as to the history of travel of the patient. The Regional Inter-Agency Task Force will have an emergency video conference this afternoon chaired by Agusan del Norte Governor Dale Corvera.
Governor Francisco Matugas urged everyone to remain calm. He emphasized that the patient’s name is withheld because of data privacy unless he will be the one to come out and publish his name.
