Dipolog: PG-ZDN groundbreaks classroom project in Titik, Leon B. Postigo, ZDN

In its continued pursuit to accord the services and brand of “Misyon ko tinuod ngaserbisyo” in far-flung areas of the province, the Provincial Government of Zamboanga del Norte turn-to-sod Php 3M construction of a new 1-unit (3) classrooms building at Bacongan National High School Titik Extension, Sitio Biwa, Brgy Titik, Municipality of Leon B.Postigo, Zamboanga del Norte through a ceremony held on Thursday, September 25, 2024.

The PG-ZDN Governor Rosalina “Nanay Nene” G. Jalosjos led the ceremonial ground breaking and capsule laying which was spearheaded by the Provincial Administrator Wilberth “Gaw Jojo” G. Magallanes on behalf of Governor Rosalina “Nanay Nene” Jalosjos along with Assistant Provincial Administrator Aurelio “Tata” J. Monteclaro, Mayor Runie O. Jamora of the Municipality of Leon B. Postigo, Former 3rd Congressional District Representative Cesar G. Jalosjos, “Conkee” C. Buctuan, 3rd District Board Member, Barangay Chairman Miravel T. Entag of Barangay Titik, OIC – Provincial Engineer Rey C. Eguia, Head, PEO – Construction Division Engr. Arman C. Alpeche, Bacongan National High School Titik Extension Principal Mr. Joel N. Yano, Sindangan SB Member Yano, Barangay Officials and teachers.

The new building is expected to provide the much – needed additional space for the School’s Senior High growing learners and will also improve the overall learning environment for the students and academic instruction of the teachers in the area.

The mission to spring up education sector development through facility development support is aligned with the current administration’s priority agenda on education development of the province. Governor Nene, local officials and partner stakeholders with support of the community in Barangay Titik Leon B. Postigo is a collective initiative to achieve a sustainable and relevant development program for the education sector and to the socio-economic development. (Angelica T. Obina)
