DFA warns foreigners vs using fraudulent entry exemption documents

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) warned the public against scams related to the entry of foreign nationals into the Philippines.

The DFA said individuals or groups who present fraudulent entry exemption documents will be dealt with accordingly and appropriate charges will be files against them.

“Morever, the DFA reiterates that it does not collect a “Travel Exemption Fee” or any kind of fee for the issuance of entry exemption documents.”

The DFA issued the warning against any scam  related to the entry of foreign nationals into the country following reports of foreigners submitting bogus entry exemption documents.

The DFA encourages the public to report through their email address, [email protected] individuals or groups involved in such activities.

The DFA said  the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases, the Office of the President has not lifted the entry restrictions.

Foreign nationals are warned to be guided by information posted  on www.dfa.gov.ph of the Bureau of Immigration website and social media accounts of the current entry restriction to the country.
