Details Of The 6 Additional Confirmed COVID–19 Cases

Specimens were examined at ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR MOLECULAR LABORATORY (November 1, 2020) 

1. ZDS 390 – A 25 y.o male, from Purok Mangga, Madasigon, Molave Zamboanga del Sur. A close contact of ZDS 362. Symptomatic. RDT Result: NONREACTIVE. Naso/oropharyngeal swab taken last October 30, 2020. Result: Positive for SARS-COV-2. Currently isolated at Molave Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility. Contact tracing by our local health authorities is on-going.
2. ZDS 391– A 77 y.o male, from Purok Mangga, Madasigon, Molave Zamboanga del Sur. A close contact of ZDS 362. Symptomatic. RDT Result: NONREACTIVE. Naso/oropharyngeal swab taken last October 30, 2020. Result: Positive for SARS-COV-2. Currently isolated at Molave Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility. Contact tracing by our local health authorities is on-going.
3. ZDS 392 – A 55 y.o female, from Purok Mangga, Madasigon, Molave Zamboanga del Sur. A close contact of ZDS 362. Symptomatic. RDT Result: NONREACTIVE. Naso/oropharyngeal swab taken last October 30, 2020. Result: Positive for SARS-COV-2. Currently isolated at Molave Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility. Contact tracing by our local health authorities is on-going.
4. ZDS 393 – A 77 y.o female, from Purok Mangga, Madasigon, Molave Zamboanga del Sur. A close contact of ZDS 362. Symptomatic. RDT Result: NONREACTIVE. Naso/oropharyngeal swab taken last October 30, 2020. Result: Positive for SARS-COV-2. Currently isolated at Molave Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility. Contact tracing by our local health authorities is on-going.
5. ZDS 394 – A 27 y.o female, from Purok Waling-Waling, Sta. Lucia, Pagadian City. A close contact of ZDS 285. Asymptomatic. Naso/oropharyngeal swab taken last October 31, 2020. Result: Positive for SARS-COV-2. Currently admitted at a government hospital. Contact tracing by our local health authorities is on-going.
6. ZDS 395 – A 61 y.o male, from Purok Esmeralda, San Jose, Pagadian City. A close contact of a confirmed positive case. Symptomatic. Naso/oropharyngeal swab taken last October 31, 2020. Result: Positive for SARS-COV-2. Currently admitted at a government hospital. Contact tracing by our local health authorities is on-going.

The general public is strongly reminded to continue to practice basic health protocols (wearing of mask and face shield, frequent hand washing and physical distancing in public places. Avoid unnecessary travels to areas/places with cases of local transmission within the bounds of Zamboanga del Sur or outside of the Province.
