TABUK CITY, KALINGA – NINE MILLION NINE HUNDRED SIXTY THOUSAND PESOS (PhP9,960,000.00) or close to ten million (PhP10,000,000.00) estimated worth/value of 83 pieces dried marijuana leaves in brick form weighing more or less eighty three thousand (83,000) grams was confiscated and the arrest of a known drug personality identified as Roy Koday Wangi, 45 years old, married and resident of Barangay Nambaran, Tabuk City at around 8:35PM last night August 11, 2024 in a buy bust operation in Bulo, Tabuk City, this province.
   The buy bust operation lead by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Kalinga Provincial Office (PDEA-CAR) was supported by PDEA Regional Office2 – Quirino, Provincial Office; Regional Intelligence Division, PROCor; Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit/ Provincial Intelligence Unit; Provincial Intelligence Team/Regional Intelligence Unit 14; Tabuk City Police Station and 15O3rd Maneuver Company Regional Mobile Forcce Batalllipn 15.
   Also confiscated from the buy bust operation were: the following: NON-DRUG EVIDENCE: One hundred ninety-three (193) pcs One Thousand peso boodle money, one (1) sack labelled AMIGO feeds d. three (3) pcs cartoon boxes, and one (1) unit white Bajaj motorcycle with key.
   A case of Violation of Section 5 of Article II of RA 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act was filed against Roy Koday Wangi. – By: BABY TONG
