The Municipality of Claver joins the entire country in the celebration of the 43rd National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation (NDPR) Week to reaffirm the support of our Local Government Unit to our fellows who have disability.
Its observance spurs the PWDs “RIGHT TO INFORMATION” relating to the social and economic welfare, and empower them to gain access in health programs and services during this time of Covid-19 pandemic.
With the theme, “Kalusugan at Kaunlaran ng Pilipinong may Kapansanan, Isusulong sa Gitna ng Pandemya”, the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office facilitated a program in partnership with the Commission on Election to boost their right to vote; and Rural Health Unit to offer health screening tests and promote health inclusion ensuring them that they belong.
713 registered Persons with Disability joined this annual event, received the cash and medicine assistance, which was conducted simultaneously to the 14 barangays.
This activity is made possible thru the efforts of the municipal officials headed by Hon. Georgia D. Gokiangkee.
