Caraga Regional Hospital now resumes to normal operation of their Emergency Room for patients.

Dr. Cheryl Gotinga announced on radio interview by DXKS that the hospital exercised safety precautions this morning after the 70 years old senior citizen from Dinagat Islands had fever and cough. The hospital investigated the history of travel when the patient revealed of having contact with a foreigner who worked in China.

After the complete investigation, they found out that the said foreigner travelled in China before the nCoV outbreak and no symptoms, the patient is now out as PUI.

The patient diagnosed with pneumonia, Dr. Gotinga said.

This morning, Emergency Response Services through its head Charlie Espinosa said that those who are requesting ambulance transport for Caraga Regional Hospital are advised that they will be brought to a private hospital.

Caraga Regional Hospital is still in NO ENTRY this time for emergency cases. Dr. Cheryl Gotinga, Medical Director said a Filipino senior citizen with contact from Canadian who used to work in China is now under isolation. They are now currently exercising precaution and will open the hospital once the patient will be cleared of nCoV symptoms.
