Campaign Against Illegal Drugs Thru Search Warrant At Mabini St. Barra, Dipolog City, Zamboanga Del Norte

Be informed that at about 7:15 PM of November 26, 2020, Intelligence Operatives/Station Drug Enforcement Team (SDET) of Dipolog City Police Station (CPS) led by PLTCOL. GILZEN NIÑO R MANESE – COP, in coordination with PDEA9, conducted service of Search Warrant for Violation of RA 9165 with SW No. 03-20 issued by Hon. Victoriano D. Lacaya Jr., Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 9, Dipolog City dated November 25, 2020, against one Roland Bunac Alegrado alias “Tata Praning”, D.I watch listed, male, 38 years old (March 12, 1982), self-employed, High School graduate  and a resident of Mabini St. Barra, Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte.

Confiscated items during the said operation were: seven (7) pieces small size heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be Methamphetamine Hydrochloride (shabu); Two (2) pieces big size heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be Methamphetamine Hydrochloride (shabu); one (1) pc. of drivers license holder color red-container of shabu and one (1) pc. bonet color gray.  Estimated street value of confiscated drugs is amounting to Eighty-four thousand pesos (₱ 84,000.00) and with estimated weight of 3 grams.

Proper inventory and markings was done at the place of confiscation in the presence of Hon. Moman P. Apura – Elected Public Official, Mr. Winnie Montallana – Media representative and Mrs. Merlinda Tenorio- DOJ representative. Suspect was brought to Provincial Crime Laboratory Office (SOCO) for drug testing while recovered drug and non-drug items were subject to present at the issuing court before it will turn-over to Provincial Crime Laboratory Office (SOCO) for chemical examination and weighing at the said office while the non-drug evidence were safe keep at this station for court exhibit.

Suspect was informed of his constitutional rights as an arrested person and was also brought to the hospital for medical examination and now under the custody of this station pending filing of formal complaint. Case for violation of RA 9165 were being readied for filing in court against the suspect.
