It’s a history in the making for the Municipality of Solsona as it bagged its first win in the 10th-year anniversary edition of Miss Ilocos Norte.

Caraang will walk home with 50,000 pesos, a full college scholarship, among other extravagant prizes provided by the Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte (PGIN).
In the final question and answer round, she was asked about how she can embody and teach empathy to the Ilocano youth.

“As an Ilokano and as a Miss locos Norte aspirant, I can embody empathy by empowering my fellow youth. And also, I am the Sangguniang Kabataan Chairperson of our Barangay” the 22-year-old pageant veteran answered.

“…With that, I can use my voice and platform to empathize with them, to put my situation in them in order for me to know what actions I should address or what actions should I do in order to help them to foster positivity and help my fellow youth,” she added.

Other winners include Pagudpud as 1st runner up, Dingras bet finished as 2nd runner-up, Batac’s candidate took home the 3rd runner up title, and completing the list is Vintar as 4th runner up.
