Two individuals identified as Joy Flores, 37 years old female; and Crenton Bagay, 35 years old male were arrested at around 12:51PM today October 22, 2024 in San Vicente Barangay, Baguio City for selling eleven sachets believed to contain suspected illegal drugs.
The suspects were arrested in a joint buy-bust operation of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Cordillera (PDEA-CAR), Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB), and City Intelligence Team (CIU) who all collaborated to seize illegal drugs known as Shabu worth Php 448,800.00, with a total estimated volume of 66 grams.
Moreover, one of the suspects was found in possession of thirteen more sachets containing suspected the illegal substances.
The pair is now under temporary custody of PDEA -CAR while charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are filed against them. – By: Baby Tong
