Mayor Evelio Leonardia visited over the weekend the ongoing improvement of additional quarantine facilities of 2 schools in Barangay Mansilingan.
Joining the visit are Engr. Loben Rafael Ceballos of City Engineer’s Office and their staff Engrs. Joebert Tambanillo, Ruben Fortaleza, and Gilbert Suguitan, Architect Roland Arriesgado, and OIC-school principal Arlan Sitaca.
Leonardia said there are more than 300 classrooms in Bacolod now being used as quarantine facilities for returning stranded residents, as he thanked the DepEd for their accommodation and cooperation.
With the preparation of more quarantine facilities, they could accommodate about 900 returnees in Bacolod and could increase it to a bigger number if the transfiguration is adjusted as needed. But he also emphasized that the occupancy rate has direct dependence on the turnaround of specimen results.
