Bacolod City – Negros Occidental 3rd District Rep. Jose Francisco Benitez was among the 32 political personalities who recently joined the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
Among those who joined the PFP were Interior and Local Government Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr, who served as PBBM’s campaign manager during the 2022 presidential elections, Leyte Rep. Richard Gomez and his wife, Ormoc City Mayor Lucy Torres-Gomez.
The new PFP members took their oath in the presence of Marcos Jr. recently at Malacañang, a post by the Presidential Communications Office showed.
Established in 2018, the PFP is pushing for a federal form of government and was one of the members of the UniTeam Alliance of Marcos and Vice President Sara Duterte.
