Report on Arrest of Illegal Drug Personality thru Buy-bust
On May 26, 2020 at about 9:20AM in M. Ortiz Street, Brgy. Washington, Surigao City, elements of Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) of Surigao City Police Station and PDEA RO 13 SDN led by Agent Mark Anthony Paler with the close supervision of PLTCOL CHRISTIAN L RAFOLS II, COP conducted buy-bust operation which eventually resulted in the arrest of LESTER SOLANTI a.k.a. Forto, male, single, 23 years old, food and staff delivery boy and a resident of Purok 2, Brgy. Mabua, Surigao City. The arrested person was informed of his Constitutional Rights under the Miranda Doctrine and the Anti-Torture Law upon his arrest. Said suspect is a newly identified drug personality of Surigao City Police Station.
Confiscated items from the possession and control of suspect were listed as follows;
- One (1) plastic sachet of suspected Shabu bought by the poseur-buyer from the arrested suspect with an estimated weight at more or less 0.05 gram with Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value of Five Hundred Ninety Pesos (P 590.00) @ (Php 11,800.00) per gram;
b. One (1) genuine Five Hundred Peso Bill (P 500.00) marked money;
c. One (1) leather wallet containing cash money amounting to Three Hundred Twenty Pesos (P 320.00) and;
d. One (1) Huawei Cellular phone.
The body search on the arrested suspect mentioned was done in an orderly manner.
A case for violation of Section 5 Article II, of RA 9165 was being prepared for filing in court against the mentioned arrested suspect.
