Be informed that at about 5:30 PM of August 10, 2020 at Purok 2, Barangay Mias, Katipunan, Zamboanga del Norte, PNP Personnel / Operatives of Katipunan Municipal Police Station (MPS) composed of PMAJ. NESTOR MOIT GANIA JR – ACOP/Team Leader, PMSg. Dioscoro E. Ello, PMSg. Noel E. Suliman,
PCpl. Reyzalde O. Malayo, PCpl. Rodjustice R. Villalba, PCpl. Vernie L. Tindugan, Pat Vanessa D. Jalosjos and Pat Sandra Lou B. De Castro conducted Intel-driven Monitoring and Surveillance Operation against Wanted Persons that resulted to the arrest of the accused Esteban Alia Cañete, 40 y/o, with live-in partner, farmer and a resident of aforementioned address.
The said accused was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Acts of Lasciviousness docketed under Criminal Case No. 027-20 (K) issued by Acting Presiding Judge Veronica C. DG-Laput of 5th MCTC Katipunan-Sergio Osmena Sr. dated August 7, 2020 with bail bond recom fixed at Thirty-Six Thousand pesos (Php 36,000) for his temporary liberty.
The said accused is now under the custody of Katipunan MPS for proper disposition.
