Narito ang opisyal na pahayag ng provincial government hinggil dito:

Camarines Sur has recorded 4 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 today.

“Bicol #121 and #122 are both family members of Bicol #95. All three of them are beneficiaries of the Hatid Tulong Initiative via PNR train that arrived in CamSur on June 25, 2020. Rest assured that the 2 new patients have not set foot on their municipality. Bicol #121 and #122 have been isolated at the CamSur Medical Center in Banasi, Bula since the announcement of Bicol #95’s RDT positive result.

Hence, there is no need for a lockdown in Balatan as their 2 new confirmed cases are both contained and have not had any contacts outside their quarantine site.

Bicol #119 and Bicol #120, who arrived from Cebu on June 13, 2020 via ferry to Sorsogon & fetched by pick up vehicle at Pilar. Both were allowed to observe home quarantine upon their arrival to Iriga City. But on June 29, 2020, Iriga LGU requested the Provincial Epidemiological Surveillance Unit to conduct Nasopharyngeal swab tests on the two patients. They are now isolated at the LGU quarantine facility.

We would like to clarify that Bicol #119 and Bicol #120 are not beneficiaries of the Hatid Tulong Program.

Due to this, we will be imposing a lockdown at Barangay San Isidro, Iriga City. Please be assured that the Provincial Government is now helping the city conduct meticulous contact tracing on these 2 new cases from Iriga City.

May we also take this chance to remind each and everyone that our community’s health is everyone’s responsibility. Let us all do our part to prevent further local transmission in our province by observing social distancing, proper hand washing, wearing of face masks, and limiting unnecessary trips outside our homes. Dios mabalos.”
