37 CTG Surrenderees In Abra Receive E-CLIP Benefits

Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet – Former members of Communist Terrorist Groups (CTG) and Militia ng Bayan (MB) who recently returned to the folds of law in the province of Abra received immediate cash assistance and grocery packs during the Presentation of Surrenderees program held at the Pavillon Gym, Barangay Ayyeng, Manabo, Abra on June 22, 2021.

Police officials led by PBGEN Ronald Oliver Lee, PROCOR Regional Director and Hon Joana Dumasing, Municipal Mayor of Manabo, Abra and Ms. Myrna Bersalona from the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) distributed the assistance to the beneficiaries.

PBGEN. Lee personally handed over the financial assistance from PROCOR amounting to ₱ 74, 000.00 and grocery items to the 37 surrenderees, while food packs from the Provincial Governor were also distributed to them.

In addition, the surrenderees will be receiving cash, livelihood and other assistance under the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP) of the government after their profiling to be conducted by the PSWDO and the issuance of certification by Joint AFP-PNP Intelligence Committee.




PBGEN. Lee commended the surrenderees for choosing to return to the folds of law and urged them to encourage their former comrades to surrender and avail the government’s E-CLIP program, to give them another chance for a peaceful life, and eventually re-integrate into the mainstream society.
