Camp Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet –Two most wanted in the Cordillera region were rounded up in Buguias, Benguet and Luna, Apayao by the police in a series of operations over the week.
The weeklong Simultaneous Anti- Criminality and Law Enforcement (SACLEO) conducted by Police Regional Office Cordillera showed a fruitful result following the arrest of 71 wanted person region wide including two most wanted persons in a regional level.
Latest to be arrested is Orlando Daluyon Bidoc, a resident of San Gregorio Luna, Apayao, charged for alleged rape and the no. 10 top most wanted man in Cordillera was arrested in sitio Mountain, San Gregorio, Luna, Apayao on October 21, 2019 by members of Luna MPS, PIB and PIDMB Apayao PPO, RID PROCOR and RIU 14.
On October 4, 2019 the joint tracker teams of Buguias MPS, Benguet PMFC, Benguet PIB, PIDMB, RID, and RIU-14 arrested Oliver Langpawen Falancy , listed as no. 9 top most wanted in the region, a resident of Sebang, Buguias, Benguet on the strength of arrest warrant for the crime of Rape, with no bail recommended.
Benguet Police Provincial Office scored anew in this month’s Simultaneous Anti- Criminality and Law Enforcement (SACLEO) for arresting three of the provincial top most wanted persons (TMWPs) with no bails recommended.
Ranked as No.3 TMWP, Dixie Baw-An Lalong was arrested along KM 5, La Trinidad, Benguet on October 25, 2019; No.4 TMWP RICO B. PARAISO was arrested at Bangot, Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya on October 21, 2019 for Statutory Rape; while the No. 10 TMWP Marcelo Casaldo Cambato was arrested at Dagadag, Balili, Mankayan, Benguet on the same date.
Meanwhile, in the municipal level, Barnabas F. Alinao, the No.1 TMWP of Tabuk City, charged for the crime of murder was captured at Maswa, Basao, Tinglayan on October 25, 2019; GLEN TACIO DANG-OWAN, the No. 5 TMWP of Buguias, Benguet, charged for Violation of RA 7610 was also arrested in Poblacion, Mankayan, Benguet on October 21, 2O19; while No. 1 TPWP of La Trinidad MPS known as Ceasar Pagian Lordios was arrested for Qualified Theft on October 22, 2019 at KM. 5, La Trinidad Benguet. Alinao and Lordios have no bail recommended while Gang-owan has a recommended bail bond amounting to Php80,000.00.
63 other wanted persons were arrested in the different parts of the region for committing various crimes. Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) bested all the PPOs for recording the most accomplishment with 22 arrests, followed by Benguet PPO with 17 arrests, then Kalinga and Abra PPO with 6 each arrests, and Apayao, Ifugao and Mt. Province with 4 each.
PROCOR leadership commended all the units for their effort in pursuing wanted persons. “The result of the recent SACLEO shows that PROCOR is not ceasing in the accounting of wanted persons and will further intensify the operations with the active participation of the community to sustain the low crime rate in the region”, Gen.
